Hi Richard hope things are going full steam ahead for Home Made Heroes.
Your hard work has inspired me to break out my ink pot and pay tribute to your endeavours. So pop along and take a look see at my Experimental gallery and see some familiar faces.
You can see more of Wayne’s artwork and read about his ideas of future projects that he himself is working on at his

“While time is tight and I won’t have the opportunity to read your full scripts, I always admire when someone decides to just go for it and do their own thing. A lot of talented people, like Bendis started out that way. Admittedly, it would be easier, because of my workload, to read your work if it were drawn in comics form, so my single advice to you at this juncture would be try to take that next step. It’s much easier for us in the industry to evaluate undiscovered talent when the work is a bit more fully formed.
Regardless, best of luck in the future and keep doing what you’re doing!

“Art. Like morality, consists in drawing the line somewhere.”

“Interesting site, nice clean design, lovely colours. Pretty much all of the films on your list are superb, in particular Blade Runner, Dr Strangelove and The Omega Man.”

“Website very nicely designed, like the ideas behind your characters and stories with the added thought and realism, which does you credit as a writer, Art has a long way to go and some study of anatomy is required.”

“Many thanks to Chebbo for being one of the first to give his honest thoughts about the website, the characters and the stories.
I’m glad the real world feel was so evident even in the first two issues, which for me were just designed as openers in order to establish the world of Home-made Heroes.”
“Art-wise I’ll be the first to admit that I’m more into the writing side of things, but I didn’t want readers going in blind to the stories without some type of reference to who or what the characters looked and felt like, hopefully I can get an artist friend to join in my adventures and in doing so bring some real artwork to my project.”

“As some of you maybe aware the rollercoaster ride which has been the development of Home-Made Heroes as a series, and as a website, has recently reached a landmark for its Creator/Writer Richard Ian Bird, this being his first interview as a creating force, through the comic creators website Comicspace.com Richard was contacted by the people behind a great new comic book website www.comicbrew.com
“At comicbrew.com you can read articles from creators, commenting on their interviews directly at the site itself, read news and reviews, buy comic book merchandise and join its message board group and discuss your views on all things comics in their forums.”
“It’s whilst at comicbrew.com (currently under THE POPULAR section on the homepage) that you can read Richard Ian Bird’s interview with the guy’s at comicbrew, and on a final note Richard would like to thank the guy’s at comicbrew.com for choosing him and for publishing the web interview.”
